The course will be designed by Mike Poulsen and Scott Drumm of Columbia River Orienteering Club.  In Trail O there are only two classes of competitors -- "Open" and "Paralympic."  The Paralympic class is for "competitors who have some permanent physical disability (including hidden disabilities), which gives a significant disadvantage in Foot Orienteering competitions."  Everyone is eligible to compete in the "Open" class.  There will be a mass start at noon for those wish to do a "recreational" Trail O course.

There will be a convention workshop on Tuesday morning on the Gonzaga campus providing an introduction to this form of orienteering for those unfamiliar with Trail O.  More information about Trail O is available on the IOF website.
