The following temperature data comes from the National Weather Service, using observations from the nearest airport. The "actual" and "average" values are the actual/30 year average for the specific day (e.g., June 26^th for Moses Lake). Values are in degrees Fahrenheit. Please be aware that temperatures at all four venues commonly reach the upper 90s in late June, and over 100F is not unheard of. Shade near the Finish is nonexistent at Moses Lake Sand Dunes and Fishtrap Lake, reasonable at Riverside State Park, and pleasant at Camp Sekani and on the Gonzaga campus. Late June is generally very dry. (However, the mapper would like everyone to know that on the afternoon of April 29^th, the last day of field work at Camp Sekani, Felts Field, just across the river, recorded over 0.4" of rain.
